OUTDOOR WOOD CARVINGS

1. Keep carving off soil using pavers, gravel, or blocks to allow drainage.

 

2. ​Avoid direct sun, as it can cause drying and cracking.

​

3. Re-coat once a year with the same base product each time (oil or water).

 

Recommended: Helmsman Spar Urethane (gloss finish) or Cabot’s Australian Timber Oil – Natural (matte finish).

INDOOR WOOD CARVINGS

1. Keep away from direct heat sources.
 
2. Some pieces may benefit from slowly transitioning indoors
(garage first).

Re-coating is rarely necessary.
